Christopher Pillidge
Dr Chris Pillidge joined RMIT University in 2016. Prior to joining RMIT, he worked for over 26 years in the dairy industry, first at Fonterra (New Zealand) then at Dairy Innovation Australia (now part of Chr. Hansen Pty. Ltd). He has extensive experience in R&D for developing dairy starter cultures and in factory microbiological troubleshooting. He has also worked as a senior analyst in a NATA-accredited food-testing laboratory. He is presently involved in several research projects at RMIT, including projects on human milk and infant nutrition, hybrid foods, and various aspects of food technology and microbiology.
