Glen A Lamb
I am a PhD candidate studying Microbiology at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience (IMB) at the University of Queensland.
My area of research is antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in bacteria, utilising fluorescent derivatives of antibacterials to investigate interactions with their respective target organisms. My work so far has primarily revolved around daptomycin, using Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) testing, Flow Cytometry, Confocal Fluorescence Microscopy and Microfluidic Systems. With future plans of looking into beta-lactam antibacterials using the same techniques.
