Cristiano Sabelli
Dr. Cristiano Sabelli has an academic background in Biological Sciences, with a focus on molecular biology research. After his degree, dr. Sabelli obtained a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics, with studies focused on microRNA-mediated gene silencing in in vitro models. After the doctoral studies, dr. Sabelli increased his experience with postdoctoral research in molecular biology, working on projects in both human and veterinary fields with no-profit organizations and national public entities. Transitioning into the industry, in 2011, dr. Sabelli served as an R&D Manager in a pharmaceutical veterinary company, contributing to develop both vaccines and pharmaceutical compounds for livestock. Subsequently, in 2018, he joined Copan, a renowned medical device company, to follow the clinical validation during the pre-market phase of the development of new products. In 2020, Dr. Sabelli was promoted as responsible of the Scientific Affairs team, with the focus to develop the scientific knowledge related to existing products and to identified possible approaches for new applications.
